Why Strength Training Should Be Part of Your Routine

A lot of people still associate training mainly with cardio. Running, cycling, classes — all of which have their place. But if your goal is to change how your body looks and performs, strength training needs to be a priority.

One of the biggest benefits of strength training is its long-term impact on fat loss. Building muscle increases your metabolic rate, meaning your body burns more energy even when you’re at rest. It’s not just about what you burn during a session — it’s about what your body does afterwards.
